Crockpot Creole Black Beans Recipe

This Crockpot Creole Black Beans recipe makes 6-8 servings. It can be turned into an entree by serving over rice.
What You Need
1 pound smoked sausage, sliced 1-inch thick
3 15-oz. cans black beans, drained
1 1/2 cups chopped onion
1 1/2 cups chopped green pepper
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped leaf oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons white pepper
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 chicken bouillon cube
5 bay leaves
1 8-oz. can tomato sauce
1 cup water
What To Do
1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown sausage.
2. Drain; place sausage into crockpot.
3. Add all other ingredients to crockpot and stir to combine.
4. Cover; cook on low 8 hours or high 4 hours. Remove bay leaves before serving.
