Slow Cooker Lasagna Recipe

This Slow Cooker Lasagna recipe makes 6-8 servings.
What You Need
1 pound ground beef
1 29-oz. can tomato sauce
8-ounce package lasagna noodles, uncooked
4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 1/2 cups cottage cheese
What To Do
1. Spray interior of cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Brown ground beef in large nonstick skillet. Drain off drippings. Stir in tomato sauce. Mix well.
3. Spread one-fourth of the meat sauce on bottom of slow cooker. Arrange one-third of uncooked noodles over sauce. (Break up to make them fit better.)
4. Combine cheeses in a bowl. Spoon one-third of cheese over noodles.
5. Repeat layers twice. Top with remaining sauce. Cover and cook on low 4 hours.
Note: Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving so pasta can absorb juices and firm up. The ideal slow cooker size for this recipe is 6 quarts.
