Spencer's Special Roast Recipe

What You Need
3- to 4-pound rump or shoulder roast
1/2 can of cola (not diet)
2 packs of onion soup mix
3 onions cut into fourths
3 potatoes cut into fourths
Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
What To Do
1. In a skillet on your stovetop, brown all sides of roast.
2. Place roast in slow cooker.
3. Place onions and potatoes into slow cooker and pour half a can of cola over top.
4. Sprinkle both packs of onion soup mix over top of roast, onions and potatoes.
5. Cook for 6 to 8 hours.
