Crockpot Pot Roast with Dressing Rub Recipe

This Crockpot Pot Roast recipe uses several packets of dry dressing or gravy mixes as a rub. You can also further dress this recipe up by adding some of your favorite vegetables to the crockpot.
What You Need
One 3- or 4-pound roast
1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
Half of 1 packet Good Seasons Itailan dressing mix
1 packet brown gravy mix
1/2 cup water
What To Do
1. Mix together the full packet of Ranch dressing mix and brown gravy mix, along with half the packet of Italian dressing mix. Rub this mixture onto the roast to coat, and sprinkle any remaining rub over the top.
2. Place roast into crockpot and pour water over the top.
3. Cover; cook on low 8-9 hours or until roast is tender.
4. Thicken remaining liquid with cornstarch and spoon over sliced roast as a gravy.
