This Beer Pot Roast recipe incorporates 1 can of beer. Use your favorite brand, but do not use a dark beer.
What You Need
2-pound pot roast
1 packet Good Seasons Garlic Dressing dry mix
1 packet Italian Dressing dry mix
1 can of beer
What To Do
1. Sprinkle one of the dry dressing mixes into the bottom of the crockpot.
2. Place roast in the slow cooker, and sprinkle other packet of dry dressing mix over the beef.
3. Pour beer over all.
4. Cover; cook on low 8-10 hours.
(Note: Roast drippings combined with beer and dressing mixes can be thickened for a great gravy.)
