Crockpot Chicken Parmigiana Recipe

This Crockpot Chicken Parmigiana recipe makes 6 servings.
What You Need
3 chicken breasts
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1 1/4 cup butter
1 10.5-oz. can pizza sauce
6 slices mozarella cheese
Parmesan cheese
What To Do
1. If using whole chicken breasts, cut into halves.
2. In a bowl, beat egg, salt and pepper. Dip chicken into egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs.
3. Saute chicken in butter in large skillet, then transfer chicken to crockpot.
4. Pour pizza sauce over chicken.
5. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
6. Add mozzarella cheese and sprinkle parmesan cheese on top. Cover and cook another 15 minutes.
