What You Need
3 cups milk
1/2 cup cornmeal
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/3 cup molasses
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon ginger
What To Do
1. Lightly grease crockpot. Preheat on high for 20 minutes.
2. Bring milk, cornmeal and salt to a boil on the stovetop. Boil, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes. Cover and simmer an additional 10 minutes.
3. In a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Gradually beat in hot cornmeal mixture and whisk until smooth.
4. Pour into preheated crockpot and cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
