This Crockpot Custard recipes makes 4-6 servings.
What You Need
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
What To Do
1. Combine eggs, sugar, vanilla and milk in a mixing bowl and mix well.
2. Pour into a lightly buttered 1- or 1.5-quart baking dish or souffle (make sure the dish will fit into your crockpot).
3. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
4. Place a rack or ring of aluminum foil in the slow cooker, place baking dish on top, then add 1 1/2 to 2 cups of hot water to the pot.
5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil. Cover crockpot and cook on high for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, or until set.
