This simple caramel apples recipe makes 8 servings.
What You Need
2 14-oz. bags of caramels
1/4 cup water
8 medium apples
What To Do
1. Add caramels and water to crockpot; cover; cook on high 60-90 minutes, stirring frequently.
2. Wash and dry apples and insert a stick into stem end of each.
3. Reduce crockpot control to low heat. Dip apple into hot caramel and turn to coat entire surface. Holding apple above crockpot, scrape off excess accumulation of caramel from bottom of apple. Place on greased wax paper to cool.
