Apple Coconut Crisp Recipe
This Apple-Coconut Crisp recipe is for the crockpot.
What You Need
4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, coarsely sliced
1/2 cup sweetened flaked coconut
1 tablespoon flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butterscotch ice cream topping
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup flour
1/2 cup quick rolled oats
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
What To Do
1. Use a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish that fits into your crockpot. In this dish, combine apples and coconut plus 1 tablespoon flour, 1/3 cup brown sugar and cinnamon.
2. Drizzle with the ice cream topping.
3. Using a fork or pastry cutter, combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl, then sprinkle over apple mixture.
4. Cover; cook on high 2 1/2 to 3 hours, until apples are tender. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.
