Why "chelly"? Because this recipe uses a sauce of chili sauce combined with grape jelly.
What You Need
2 pounds ground beef
1 cup dry bread crumbs
2/3 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs (slightly beaten)
2 tablespoons parsley
2 teaspoons salt
1 cup Worcestershire sauce
Sauce
1 (24-oz.) jar chili sauce
1 (20-oz.) jar grape jelly or jam
What To Do
1. Combine top ingredients and form into balls, placing meatballs into crockpot.
2. Combine sauce ingredients in saucepan and cook over low heat until jelly is melted, then pour over meatballs.
3. Cover crockpot. Cook approximately four hours on high heat, or 7-8 on low heat.
